Day 284: Fun with Prime
A dark, wet, gloomy afternoon makes for a perfect photo day. The overcast sky casts an even soft light all around and the rain brings out the deep rich colors on all the surfaces. I put my 50mm lens on and walked around. By the time I made a complete circle around the house, I had several promising candidates for today’s 365. This bench has been my subject in the past and I chose it again today.
At f4, a few stops down from its minimum aperture, this lens is sharp as any “L” priced lens and produces mouth-watering bokeh. The cute little octagon lens flare was a nice bonus.
